Shaping commercial strategy across complex global operations, Greg Carbone engages in organizational building efforts as Mars’ vice president of commercial strategy, portable snacks. Beginning in the position pre-acquisition with Kellanova/Kellogg Company, he drove strategic initiatives for major brands such as RXBAR, Special K, Pop-Tarts, and Rice Krispies Treats. Greg Carbone is knowledgeable about AI and its workplace applications, and excels in omni-commerce execution and next-generation digital shelf strategies.
Mr. Carbone has successfully informed retailer launch plans for new products, focusing on speed to shelf and trial. He has also implemented a commercial reporting system that combines Nielsen information with external data, generating more accurate results.
For nearly two decades, he held positions of increasing leadership and responsibility with Kraft Heinz Company. As senior director of sales with the Beverages Commercial Team, he guided teams across the East Area representing Crystal Light, Kool-Aid, Country Time, and Capri Sun.
Mr. Carbone subsequently spent three years with Ahold USA and C&S Wholesale, integrating Heinz’ frozen and grocery portfolio within the Kraft Foods business. Attaining impressive integration milestones, he delivered significant net revenue growth and formulated a landmark joint business plan with Ahold for the Kraft Cheese business. This boosted revenue and added more than 800 incremental distribution points.
In his free time, Mr. Carbone enjoys listening to “mindset” podcasts. He is also a CrossFit and weightlifting enthusiast.
